A full hands-on class to review and practice lighting concepts with various types of lights. Students will have time to practice all techniques during the course of the day and apply lighting techniques to better portraits. Students will have time to practice all techniques of light positioning in studio and outdoors. Students will place lights position from single light setup to five lights set-up placement to expose subjects in different scenarios. The students will review the use of light meters by taking readings of subjects to properly expose before making a final portrait. The students will review and practice subject positioning, such as hand and body placement in front of the camera. The students will practice hands-on lighting outdoors using studio techniques previously used in the studio.
Items to bring: Camera (DSLR), meter (if you own one), and note taking materials
