Join international animal photographer Jo Howell as she shares her story of turning her passion for animals, wild places, and photography into a rewarding career. Jo will share her insider hints and tips as a Zoos Victoria photographer for creating images of captive animals in various situations while promoting positive interactions and animal welfare. This workshop will cover lens choice, camera settings, difficult lighting and how to deal with enclosure construction such as mesh or wire & glass. You are sure to come away with a great set of tools for successful zoo photography! This workshop will include classroom time in the morning and hand-on photography assignments at the Minnesota Zoo in the afternoon.
