For digital professional photographers, software is a necessary tool of the trade. This class will be an introduction to Lightroom and Photoshop CC basics. You will start with digital workflow and file management. Everyone will have an opportunity to learn and practice Lightroom and Photoshop basics including set/up, preferences, keyboard short cuts, image editing (including layers and masking), actions, presets and more. You will then put into practice what you have learned working on digital retouching and digital manipulation including background painting and creating composites. Please bring some of your own hi-res images to work on (i.e. - individual and group portraits, landscape, wildlife) .
Finally, your instuctor, Mike LaRose, would like to take time at the end of class to talk about PPA Image competition - because it makes you a better photographer.
Items to Bring: Laptop/Computer installed with the latest version of Lightroom and Photoshop CC Creative tablet (i.e. Wacom) recommended, hi-res Images to work on, can include individual and group portraits, landscape, wildlife, note taking materials
