Elevate your photography by adding dramatic nighttime portraits to your portfolio! You will learn what gear and exposure settings are needed to spin fire. You will add off camera flash/softbox to freeze the model while Alison spins the fire. You will take turns spinning as well! Alison will also show you how speedlights, grids, colored gels, and Atmosphere Aerosol can change the mood of your images. The class will also touch on the basics of light painting an object.
Class will begin at 4pm with a brief lecture and then move outdoors near sunset. No more excuses for the camera to be put into the bag when the sun goes down!
Items to Bring: Camera, 24mm-70mm type lens, tripod required for fire spinning, snack/water if needed, bug spray. If you have off camera flash gear, using your own equipment would be best. You can still photograph the spinning without a flash or if you are on a Canon bod
