This is a Hands-On class. Join us as we explore and photograph Wildwood Lake in Harrisburg, PA. You will be covering techniques to locate & identify wildlife, maximize image quality and observe subject behavior to improve image capture. Proper etiquette for photographing in a public park will also be covered.
Local wildlife that you may encounter could include such birds as Egrets, Herons, Woodpeckers & songbirds. The lake also has numerous frogs, turtles, dragonflies and other critters.
There will be opportunities to photograph not only the wildlife, but the plants & scenery as well. The class will be walking along a one mile, flat gravel/dirt path along a lake flush with wildlife. Your instructor, Aaron Beale, recommends bringing a variety of lenses with your camera, as there are multiple opportunities to photograph different types of subjects.
Items to Bring: Recommended Items to Bring: Camera with Manual Mode capability, Telephoto, Macro & Wide Angle/Zoom lenses, sturdy Tripod, pocket notebook for note taking, and of course, Batteries & Memory Cards
