SUMMARY:From RAW to Remarkable: A Hands-On Editing Experience
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever looked at a finished photograph and wondered how 
 the artist transformed the original RAW file into such a powerful image? T
 his full-day\, hands-on class takes you through the complete editing proce
 ss\, from evaluating and selecting an image to preparing the final photogr
 aph for competition\, exhibition\, print\, or delivery to a client.  Rathe
 r than concentrating on individual software tools\, we will focus on the d
 ecisions that guide an effective edit. Working together with provided imag
 e files\, participants will follow each step of the process\, including RA
 W development\, composition and cropping\, color and tonal adjustments\, l
 ocal enhancements\, distraction removal\, creative filters\, plugins\, sha
 rpening\, and final presentation.  You will watch each image develop in re
 al time\, make the same adjustments on your own computer\, and receive per
 sonal guidance when you encounter questions or challenges. The goal is not
  simply to copy an instructor’s settings\, but to understand why each de
 cision is made and how to develop a thoughtful\, repeatable editing workfl
 ow of your own.
