See for yourself how better light control can improve your photo shoots!

Instructor Doug Box will help you understand the fundamentals of light theory. With this knowledge, you can better control your lighting to achieve the effect you need.

Doug uses models, as well as before and after pictures, to demonstrate how to make light work exactly the way you want it for your most creative images.

Have a notepad ready, because this course covers some important details, including:

    • Strobe varieties and ways to modify the light using umbrellas and soft boxes
    • How distance from the subject and size of the light modifier affects softness
    • Using the on-camera flash as fill in, with off-camera flash as the main light
    • How to capture images balancing ambient and flash, as well as how shutter speed can change the background
    • Rear curtain sync, using multiple strobes, bounce flash and high-speed flash sync

You’ll also want to jot down Doug’s “recipe” for incredible outdoor portraits. Get started now!

We value your feedback and want to know how we can improve. Please share your thoughts about the class here.
