About the Class

Please note starting April 1, 2022, the Lighting section will cover 28% of the CPP Exam. Approved Certification Instructor, Steve Kozak takes you through a portion of the test specifications for the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) exam. In this video you will focus on Lighting, Section D. In this section you will learn to determine the type of lighting design (Rembrandt, split, broad, short, etc.) to be used with the given subject(s). You will also learn;

  • Knowledge of soft, hard and diffused light sources for producing desired effects
  • Knowledge of desired light pattern effects that can be obtained on different subjects and/or background (individuals, groups, weddings, tabletop, outdoors, etc.)
  • Knowledge of directing and combining lights (corrective lighting) with different subjects to create desired effects and complement them.

Steve makes the topic easy to understand and explains each concept thoroughly, so you won’t be confused or anxious come exam time. Steve also has created a CPP Study guide available for purchase! Learn more at passthecpp.com.
