About the Class

Sports photography, whether for passion or profit, requires specific skills and preparation to be successful. Fencing, one of the original Olympic sports, offers photographers opportunities to shoot a unique and exciting sport with well-educated and affluent clients who appreciate the value and complexity of the sport, whether for themselves or for their children. Understanding the various elements of sports photography and how they apply to fencing is helpful in making fencing a profitable venture. These include marketing to organizations or individuals, understanding the sport, using the proper equipment, being prepared for various venues, post-production and workflow issues, and distribution as well as publicity for images. This webinar addresses all of these issues to give photographers an insight to how fencing may increase their portfolios and their revenue streams.
