Kia Bondurant Bio

Many people feel the portrait photography business is struggling, and both experienced and new photographers see their struggles as unique. Kia Bondurant spent the first 15 years of her professional photography career as a co-owner of a well-established portrait studio. For the last 5 years, she has built up a small-scale photography business in the new economy. Because of her successful experiences on both ends of the spectrum, Kia believes that professional portrait photography has a bright future. During her career, Kia has been featured on the cover of Professional Photographer magazine twice, named the Kansas Photographer of the Year, the National Senior Photographer of the Year and has recieved both her Masters and Craftsmen from PPA.

Sarah Smith Bio

Kent and Sarah have created a beautifully balanced studio in the Columbus, Ohio area. Their senior and family business is something most photographers only dream of. They have continued to thrive in this ever-changing market. Kent and Sarah have earned degrees and won numerous awards, but their love of people continues to grow and show through in their work. Sarah recently became the Vice President of Corporate Photographic Development for Lifetouch Inc. and is a member of Cameracraftsman of America.

Julia Woods Bio

Julia's passion for relationships creates the foundation for her photography.  She brings a light-hearted approach and a photojournalistic style to every session.  Capturing lifetime memories from an artistic perspective is what brings clients from all over to invest in the custom art displays she creates.

Julia has been honored to have her work recognized by numerous associations, including five Album of the Year awards from the Association of Professional Photographers of Illinois (APPI), PPA’s Loan Collection and Gold Photographer of the Year status, five Kodak Gallery awards, two Kodak Elite awards and five Fuji Masterpiece awards.  Her work has been featured in Rangefinder, PDN, the cover of Professional Photographer and various technical resource books.  In addition, her work is featured in such consumer publications as Martha Stewart Weddings, In Style Weddings,Modern Bride and Bride magazines.

Julia finds her career in photography highly rewarding, and she finds great joy in sharing what she has learned with fellow photographers.  She works as a consultant and teacher, providing photographers with the tools that will help them build successful businesses of their own.  Through private workshops and seminars, she has taught throughout the U.S. and in Australia, Canada, Brazil, Ireland and China.
