Find Your Artists Highway

Parker Pfister Cr.Photog.

Parker Pfister sits down with PhotoVision correspondent, Angela Kurkian, to discuss his art and business. Parker stresses the importance of ‘playing’ to keep your creativity alive and your passion for photography strong. He elaborates on how he balances work and play by not having to rely on marketing anymore by establishing himself as a high end artistic photographer. Parker talks bout how his personal artworks enhance his client work by clarifying what he wants to say with his photographs and how people gravitate towards that.

Parker Pfister Bio

While other kids dreamed of being firefighters and cowboys, Parker dreamed of being a National Geographic photographer. He started his journey into the art of photography at age six when his grandmother gave him his first camera. Eight years later Eastman Kodak honored him with a silver medallion for second place at the 1982 World's Fair.

He's had a camera in his hands ever since, photographing anything that interests or moves him. Last year he was named one of the "Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World" by American Photo. He was on the cover of NikonWorld magazine, was seen on the BBC's Style Network, and his work was featured on Keeping up with the Kardashians, Entertainment Tonight and The Food Network, but says his biggest reward of the year was playing with his son, Scout.
