Rachel Williams M.Photog.Cr., CPP

Rachel Williams sits down with PhotoVision correspondent, Julia Kelleher, to discuss proper newborn safety techniques. Rachel talks about the best way to handle newborns when posing them for pictures and how to better understand a baby’s psychology in order to take control of your newborn sessions. She discusses how to get parents to relax, trust you with their newborn, and look natural while posing. Rachel then demonstrates the value of having a toy prop to practice posing.

Rachel Williams Bio

Rachel Williams, M.Photog.Cr., CPP has been working in the photography industry since 2000, after completing courses at the Oklahoma school of photography. After several years working with various photography studios in both Texas and Oklahoma, she opened her own business, Photographic Designs by Rachel Williams, in 2006. Her portrait studio is located in Tulsa Oklahoma and her primary focus is on newborns, children, family, and high school senior portraits. Quality products, client relationships, and a creative drive have been the basis of her growth and success in business.

Rachel has been a member of PPAOK and PPA since 2003. In 2012, Rachel received her PPA Master of Photography degree, her Photographic Craftsman into 2010, and Certification in 2011. She has been a speaker on many occasions with topics ranging from portraiture, marketing, sales, business practices, and Photoshop techniques.
