Chris Bross is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at DriveSavers Data Recovery. He leads DriveSavers long-term technology vision and is responsible for strategic partnerships, academic collaborations and industry thought leadership. Chris helps facilitate discussion in the technical community with leading storage designers, manufacturers and industry groups. He currently guides DriveSavers R&D team on solid-state drive technologies and tools. Prior to joining DriveSavers in 1995, Bross held technical engineering support roles at Adobe Systems and Golden Triangle Computers, where he learned first-hand about customer technical support and the implications of data loss and data recovery. Bross holds a BA in Communications and IATECH from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Data Comm Engineering certificate from UC Berkeley Extension. He is also a member of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering Industry Advisory Board.
