• A one-year print and digital subscription (12 monthly issues) to Professional Photographer magazine is provided for the Primary Contact listed above.
• $17.50 of the Corporate Membership dues is applied to Professional Photographer magazine and is non-deductible.
• An application must be completed for each additional associate.

• Create a new folder on your computer and name it LastName_FirstName. (i.e. Johnson_Mary) 
• Create a text file with the following information.
  • Full Name
  • City, State
  • Email address
  • Daytime phone number
  • Copyright Line (i.e © Mary Johnson or © Johnson Fine Portraits) 
• Save the text file in the folder you created. Resize the images you wish to submit and save them as high resolution .jpeg files in your folder. 
• Image size should be about 2400 pixels by 3000 pixels. (8x10 at 300 ppi) 
• Zip compress the folder and name it LastName_Firstname.zip 

The photo must creatively represent you as the photographer you are. We need to see, at least, a glimpse of your face (this is Faces, after all!), but it can be cropped or partially hidden. We also want to see your gear or equipment featured. An action shot of you taking a photo is a great idea! What matters most is to have a representation of you as the photographer and/or a creative artist that you are. No headshot or anything that won’t scream (A) that photography is what you do for a living, or (B) that you are a super creative/artistic person.

Note: If you are not the copyright holder of the image, be sure to obtain a usage license from the photographer who took the photo. You can download a sample Unlimited Copyright License Agreement on PPA.com.

PPA PHOTO/VIDEO LICENSING AGREEMENT

This Photo License Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made between the named photographer/creator below (“Photographer/Creator”) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA) ("Client"). The parties agree as follows:

1. License. Photographer/Creator hereby grants to Client a license (“License”) to use the images/videos discussed on the following terms and conditions:

a. License: Photographer/Creator grants to Client in perpetuity the non-exclusive right to use the images in any electronic medium or format, both current and future, which is owned, published or distributed by Client including but not limited to Client’s social media channels, instagram.com/ourppa, facebook.com/OurPPA, instagram.com/imagingusa and facebook.com/imagingusa. This permission includes, but is not limited to, use in any and all excerpts, translations, revisions, anthologies, archives, databases or other materials promoting those publications regardless of format or medium. Client is permitted to crop, resize and/or electronically alter the image to suit their purposes in the course of the uses stated above. This includes the right to use the work as a layer (whether underlay or overlay) in any such use without regard to whether or not such alteration would constitute a derivative work.

2. Consideration. As consideration for this license, Client shall include a photo credit or copyright notice with the name of the Photographer/Creator in the caption on all uses.

3. Ownership of Photos/Videos. Client agrees that, subject to the rights and licenses granted herein, Photographer/Creator is, and will remain, the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title, and interest, throughout the world, to all Photos/Videos and any copies of the Photos/Videos. Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, Photographer/Creator reserves all rights and licenses not expressly granted in this Agreement.

4. Termination. Either party may terminate this Agreement immediately upon delivery of written notice to the other party specifying clearly the grounds for termination if the other party commits a material breach of its obligations under this Agreement and fails to cure the breach within 30 days after written notice of the breach is received by the breaching party. For the avoidance of doubt, termination will be without prejudice to any liability incurred prior to the effective date of termination. However, such termination shall not terminate the right of the client to continue its use (without alteration) of materials or webpages already in existence at the time of the termination of the agreement. To terminate this agreement contact Social Media Specialist, Lauryn Washington, by email at [email protected] or phone 404-522-8600 x265.
