Harry Benson has always prided himself on being on top of any assignment he gets, which has allowed him to become an incredibly famed photojournalist. In June 1968, he was assigned to cover Sen. Robert F. Kennedy’s win of California’s presidential primary. Benson recounts the assassination of Robert Kennedy and the minutes after the shocking death. The stunning photos taken in this historic moment were a result of his professionalism, ability to keep a cool head, and stick to his photography instincts.
