Why Search the Internet When You Can Have Like-Minded Photographers Answer Your Questions? This Week on TheLoop, We’ve Got Discussions on Free Photo Requests, Dealing With Scam Emails and More

What's your "No, I don't do photos for free" script?

Picture this, you’re talking to a venue who originally offered you a free vendor space at an event, but it turns out they really want you to work as a free event photo booth. What would you say in the situation?

This looper doesn’t want to put in the time and effort at this event to be compensated in experience, so she’s looking for ways to say “ no, I don’t do photos for free.”

If you have any experience in this situation, head over to her post to give her your best response.

Dealing with Scams?

When checking your inbox for potential messages from clients the last thing you want to see is another scam email. This looper wants to know if it’s worth it to respond to the email that was left in his inbox.

Let him know how you respond to scam emails by leaving a message on his thread!

How to Price a Professional Studio

This Looper is about to open a studio with 25' x 15' white cyclorama wall, 15' green screen wall, and audio booth, but he doesn’t know how to price his studio. He’s calling on anyone who’s rented a studio space or owned a studio space to determine the price range for his studio. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you have any suggestions for him, make sure to post on the thread!

Must Have Wedding Photography Gear

When it comes to photographing weddings, this looper carries two bodies and two lenses (24-70 and 70-200), but he’s interested in learning the equipment that other wedding photographers bring with them. Do you have two bodies on you the entire day? Which lenses do you carry?

Leave a comment on this looper’s thread to show him what gear you bring for your wedding shoots!
