The way that businesses reach their consumers is changing. The old ways like TV commercials, print ads, and radio spots aren’t as reliable as they once were. The consumer base is shifting rapidly from Boomers and Gen-Xers to Millennials, and photography businesses have to find ways to connect and engage with younger demographics. If you’re interested in innovative ways to use social media and digital marketing to engage with these consumers and increase your client bookings, be sure to check out this class at Imaging USA!
Photographer Lisa Mallis will be teaching "How Technology Will Shape the Future of Photography" at Imaging USA, which is THE place to see the best speakers in the photography industry! Join Lisa and dozens of other speakers in Atlanta, GA, January 20-22, 2019 (and January 17-19 for pre-con classes!) for networking, shopping, and everything photography!

Why do you love photography? I love the business of photography. Photographers have passion that drives them out of their comfort zone. Most are fearless risk-takers that are open-minded and eager to learn how to turn their creativity into a successful business. New ideas are plentiful, which means technology and marketing strategies are always being pushed forward. There are no limits, which makes my job in business development and marketing exciting!
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose? I would love to have the power to heal... both physically and mentally.
What did you want to be as a kid when you grew up? A veterinarian
If you could have a theme song, what would it be? David Guetta - Titanium ft. Sia
What was one of the defining moments in your career? When I realized too much loyalty can be harmful to personal growth, and I made the decision to look beyond without feeling guilty.
Who has been one of the biggest influences of your work? The Luter family - Joe, Greg and Mike - for teaching me the foundation of this industry. Steve Clark, for giving me the confidence to grow professionally and showing me how to trust my gut. Stan Reedy, for believing in me and encouraging my crazy ideas. Jonathan Dantes, for showing me there are no limits or boundaries and that anything is possible if you work hard and execute.
