Launch Forward with the PPA Business Challenge
You love photography and mastered it before you decided to make it a primary source of income. Since then, you’ve worked very hard but are not quite sure you are where you need to be. Maybe it’s time to take a moment to look deeply into the business aspect of your career – and one of the best ways to do so is with the Business Challenge.
Over 650 PPA photographers participated in the PPA Business Challenge this February, and more will be joining on April 1. YOU can still be one of them! The Business Challenge helps members reach their business goals and overall become more profitable. It's a free, year-long program that is supported by mentors who are here to guide you, step-by-step, on how to take your business to the next level.
“We live in a super busy world and we sometimes fall into the ‘rut of rushing’. I read a book –recently in which the author made the analogy of putting food into your mouth and chewing - while chewing is satisfying to your senses, it does not actually give you nourishment until you actually swallow it.
There is a lot of amazing information being presented to you in the Business Challenge, not only from PPA but from everyone contributing as well. I encourage you to take the time you need to digest all of it. Make sure you're "swallowing" the great info and not just tasting it! If you need to go slower, go slower. The assignments will be here when you're ready to tackle them. Please don't rush through assignments and if you're feeling overwhelmed, just know that you're doing great and you may just need more time to digest it fully.” - Angela Kurkian, M.Photog.Cr., CPP and Director of Education at PPA.
The Business Challenge helps photographers improve their business by building a stronger foundation with a focus on sustainability and profitability over the course of one year.
