Are Phones Killing the Art of Photography?

Famous German photographer and filmmaker Wim Wenders is currently on display in Berlin at the exhibit, "Instant Stories", a travelling collection of his Polaroid photographs. The BBC caught up with him and got this brief video, shared by PetaPixel, where Wenders bemoans the demise of photography…and places the blame squarely on iPhones.

We all know he's wrong to say photography is "more dead than ever", but maybe he has a point about the proliferation of amateur, cell-phone photography over, say, printed works done by professionals like the members of PPA! Check out the article on PetaPixel and see what you think.
