Saint Paul, MN /
Michael Hanline is CEO of White House Custom Colour, Eagan Minnesota whom he owns with his wife Diana and sons Chris and Tim.
Mike’s entire career has been in the Professional Photographic Lab Industry. Mike’s parents operated a Minnesota photography studio until 1954, at which time they moved to Kansas City and entered the emerging School Photography lab business. They owned Associated Photographers until 1985 when Mike and Diana purchased the lab from them.
In 1990 the business was sold and Mike moved on to become General Manager of American Color Imaging. After three years, Mike and his family moved again, this time relocating to the Twin Cities with Mike taking a position as Director of Corporate Development for Lucht Engineering, a leader provider of photographic printing and retouching systems for the Professional lab industry.
Wanting to get back in the finishing industry, Mike joined White House Custom Colour in 1996, as a 50% co-owner of this very small lab located in St. Paul Minnesota. Along with the help of his sons, Mike led WHCC into the emerging digital imaging arena in late 1999. Today the lab employs over 400 staff members during its annual peak production, and has five locations, four in Minnesota and one in Texas.
