:: Volunteer with PPA

For more than 128 years, PPA has been helping professional photographers succeed. As a volunteer-run membership organization, PPA is totally dependent on volunteers to keep moving forward. Volunteers, whether on the Board of Directors, working at an event, or serving on an Action Team, are truly the lifeblood of the association.

What are Action Teams? An innovative means of involving volunteers in a new, more streamlined, more business-like means of conducting the association's business. Action Teams are designed to make volunteering easier, less time-consuming, and a much better overall experience. Each Action Team is appointed by the President for a specific task. The assignment includes a time frame and what is expected to be accomplished, and they are organized whenever they are needed. Many Action Teams carry out their task via e-mail or conference calls to avoid the time commitment required from volunteers and expenses.

Are you interested in serving on an Action Team or in another volunteer capacity? Use the form below to sign up to be a PPA Volunteer. This isn't a guarantee that you will get a call, but we need volunteers from different parts of the country on many different subjects.

We also encourage you to consider participating in a PPA Leadership Training program. This is an all-day experience focused on what PPA is, how it works, and how volunteers are involved. Look for more information about the Leadership Training program, which is generally held the day before Imaging USA.
