Affiliate Awards
National Award
The National Award is a special honor that PPA Affiliates can award to recognize outstanding services in professional photography.
The recipient, selected by the respective PPA Affiliate, may be either a PPA member or non-member – and they can be in the field of photography or not. While the National Award is available annually, it will not be awarded if there is not a suitable candidate.
To give the National Award:
- The Affiliate’s annual affiliation fees must be paid.
- Only 1 National Award may be presented per Affiliate, per year.
- The Affiliate must have the name of the recipient engraved in the space provided. Please note: PPA is not responsible for engraving. The cost of the plaque and pin is $236.00, which includes shipping. The date of presentation should be engraved on the bottom line of the plate.
- The individual may not receive more than 1 National Award from the same PPA Affiliate during his or her lifetime.
- The National Award must be ordered and paid for at least 60 days in advance of the event where the award will be presented.
Presentation should be made at the Affiliate event by the highest-ranking PPA official of the Executive Committee in attendance, a current Board member, PPA Past President, or PPA Councilor.
Here are some resources to help your presentation go smoothly:
CPP Award
The Professional Photographic Certification Commission is pleased to offer an award that can be used to enhance your Affiliate State or District Photographic Competition. The CPP Award recognizes the highest scoring Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) print, album or electronic submission.
The award itself has the CPP credential mark etched in a glass presentation piece and will be provided at no cost to each state or region that requests it. It can be
presented to the award recipient at an awards banquet or meeting at your discretion.
