Webinar: New Drone Regulations - PPA Today

Webinar: New Drone Regulations

By Autumn Rice

The new FAA regulations for drone usage have been released, and PPA wants to talk about it! Although the new regulations lift some of the restrictions on flying drones for professional use, there is still some information that photographers need to know.

These regulations apply to the use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) weighing less than 55 pounds for most reasons other than for hobby or recreational purposes. These regulations will go into effect in August 2016.

Join PPA's Manager of Government Affairs, Lindsey Forson, and a special guest from the FAA, on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 2pm as they review the new regulations and break down what this means for photographers. If you are interested in using drones in your business, you do not want to miss this event.

Stay up-to-date and register for this event to ensure you are flying legally and safely!
