Five years ago, Jeff Roffman held his first Santa Day at his Atlanta photography studio. It was a modest event with about 15 sessions. Almost every kid cried.

But unbeknownst to him, that event turned out to be a hit and created a ravenous client base for more photography sessions with Santa. After adding many more props, features, and even a cookie decorating station, this seasonal event brings the North Pole to the middle of Georgia - producing a big boost to Roffman's bottom line.

"We're not just selling the photography; we're selling the experience," says Roffman. "This is a judgment-free zone where kids can be kids. If a kid has a meltdown on Santa's lap, that's OK. The parents can all share a laugh and not be embarrassed. We are all parents here, and we're in this together."
