Black River Imaging has announced the latest version of its free ordering software, Cascade 1.2, with the ability to clone a book or album layout. Already known for its three-dimensional preview as you build an album, Cascade 1.2 now gives photographers the ability to copy, or "clone," an album or book into a second version in another style or size. For example, a photographer can design a leather wedding album and--without rebuilding the layout--clone that album to create a smaller book with a fabric cover for the bride's parents. Cloning saves design time while adding versatility to the wedding and portrait photographer's product offering.
