August 3, 2006, CHICAGO – Océ (Nasdaq: OCENY), a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today announced the Océ Pro-Select line of instant dry media designed for 17- to 60-inch photo and proofing printers including models from Océ, Epson, Canon and HP. The line includes four films, three photo papers and one proofing paper.
ICC (International Color Consortium) profiles for Océ, Epson, Canon and HP printers driven by the most popular RIP (Raster Image Processor) solutions such as ColorBurst®, Colorbyte and ONYX® will be available at no charge. In addition, Océ offers complimentary application support via phone and web for all Océ media.

The Océ Pro-Select Media Line
Océ Pro-Select 7 mil Pop-Up Film with Grayback (PSPOPUP): a 7 mil, fast dry, universally compatible PET (polyester) film, Océ Pro-Select Pop-Up Film features a no-tear base engineered to withstand repeated rolling for portable display units. The gray opaque back eliminates image washout caused by light diffusion. This film features a microporous, water-resistant, high gloss photographic topcoat for outstanding “color pop” and instant dry time.
Océ Pro-Select 5 mil PET White Film (PSWHTFLM): a 5 mil, fast dry, universally compatible PET film, Océ Pro-Select PET White Film has the same breathtaking “color pop” and dry time as Océ Pro-Select Pop-Up Film but is designed for applications where a thinner base is desired and light blocking is not required. With a premium, high gloss finish and tear-resistant base, this film is ideal for mounted or framed photographic applications. For added durability, the film may be laminated with either thermal or pressure sensitive laminates.
Océ Pro-Select 5 mil Premium Backlit Film (PSBACKLIT): a 5 mil, fast dry, universally compatible PET film designed to create even light diffusion and maximum image density. Océ Pro-Select Premium Backlit Film can be displayed either backlit or reflective, making it an ideal film for a wide variety of signage needs.
Océ Pro-Select 5 mil Premium Clear Film (PSCFLM): a 5 mil, fast dry, universally compatible clear film engineered for creating inkjet screen positives. This film features a low UV-Dmin and High Dmax with Epson K3 and Epson Ultrachrome® inks as well as Canon LUCIA and ChromaLife® ink, delivering denser blacks and richer-looking images. The microporous topcoat maximizes throughput with its instant dry, water-resistant properties.
Océ Pro-Select 9 mil Proofing Paper (PSPROOF): a 9 mil, fast dry, universally compatible proofing paper, this product features a unique color shift stabilizing layer to minimize Delta E-shift. The semi-matte surface is ideal for proofing applications.
Océ Pro-Select 10 mil Satin Photopaper (PSphotoS): a 10 mil, photopaper with a bright white microporous topcoat and a satin finish, Océ Pro-Select Satin Photopaper includes a true resin-coated base to accept higher ink loads without cockling and bleed. The specially designed topcoat provides a fast dry, water-resistant sheet that is universally compatible with Canon, Epson, and HP printers.
Océ Pro-Select 10 mil Glossy Photopaper (PSphotoG): a 10 mil, photopaper with a bright white microporous topcoat and a glossy finish, Océ Pro-Select Glossy Photopaper includes a true resin-coated base to accept higher ink loads without cockling and bleed. The specially designed topcoat provides a fast dry, water-resistant sheet that is universally compatible with Canon, Epson, and HP printers.
Océ Pro-Select 9 mil Portrait Surface Photopaper (PSphotoP): a 9 mil, fast dry, universally compatible photo paper, Océ Pro-Select Portrait Surface Photopaper is ideal for wedding, portrait, and traditional black and white photography. Designed for exceptional performance with dye and pigment ink in piezo and thermal photo printers, this photopaper features a unique portrait surface reminiscent of traditional photographic prints.
