CHIMERA® would like to help photographers, videographers and film makers in the areas hit by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We know many of you lost some or all of your gear not to mention having had your lives, homes and businesses put into chaos. We are offering equipment replacement assistance to imagemakers in the affected areas. This assistance will be on a case by case basis and take the form of deeper discounts on equipment replacement and in some cases donations from our limited supply of demo gear, seconds and other high quality slightly used equipment.
We realize that every situation is a bit different and therefore we have to use discretion in making this offer to make sure that our fairly limited resources go as far as possible in assisting those with the greatest need. With that in mind, we ask those that may see this gesture as an opportunity to somehow deceptively profit form this genuine effort to help to please refrain from contacting us and let this program help those truly in need.
