Alfred Coda of New Jersey passed away on January 1, 2007 at the age of
89. He was the founder of Coda Studios, Coda Color Lab and Coda,
Incorporated. He was an active member of the Professional Photographers
of America and was a Past President of the New Jersey PPA. He was a
Master of Photography and was named a Fellow of Photography at the 13th
annual convention of the PPA.
Al Coda pioneered the use of pressure sensitive adhesives for graphic mounting and laminating. He founded Coda, Inc. in 1974 and developed the first mass-produced Cold-Mount laminator. Coda, Inc. is still a leader in the industry today, headed by Al’s son, Lee Coda.
In a statement released by the family, they would like to "thank all those in the industry for their friendship and support shown to Al through-out the years". Kindly make any donations in his memory to the American Lung Association or a charity of choice.
