The World Photographic Cup (WPC) has been uniting the world through photography since 2013 and this year is thrilled to announce a record number of countries participating in the event! Originally founded as a cooperative effort between The Federation of European Photographers (FEP) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA), WPC has expanded and is now supported by UAPP (United Asian Professional Photography) and AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography).

This year there will be 28 teams competing from four continents including new entrants like Russia, Mexico and China.

The competition judging is currently taking place and will close at the end of November.

Want to take a peek at the world's greatest images? They'll be posted after judging on the WPC website. The finalist images in each category will be announced and shown at Imaging USA in Atlanta on January 11, 2016 at the Grand Imaging Awards.

The winners will be formally announced at the WPC Awards Ceremony in Oporto, Portugal on March 14, 2016!

For more information on this historic event, visit their website at www.worldphotographiccup.org
