No Case of the Mondays at Imaging USA - PPA Today

No Case of the Mondays at Imaging USA

Another day equaled more laughs, learning, networking and shopping for the thousands of you here at Opryland.

You filled the room for Nashville's own Russ Harrington and for many other programs great programs throughout the day. We heard Allison Tyler Jones's program was so good it got even extended and received a standing ovation! The Imaging USA Expo floor was steady packed and plenty of you checked out those amazing photographic exhibits.

Best of all? The room was FULL for this year's Grand Imaging Awards, which shows your and/or your fellow attendees' growing interest in photographic competition! Congratulations to Roberto Falck for taking home the Grand Imaging Award for his  image/album "Monks".

"It's such a pleasure to be part of this community," said Falck, of Brooklyn, New York. "I'm honored and proud, this is so unexpected. We all work hard for this competition and it feels amazing to be honored by my peers."

And more congratulations go to all of the image competition award winners, medalists and finalists. You all have much to be proud of! What an inspiring year!. If you missed the ceremony, you can check out those images in the International Photographic Exhibit, to the left of the tradeshow. And don't forget about that Peter Lik exhibit alongside it! Hopefully we'll see your images on display at Imaging USA's to come.

Here's the video recap for Imaging USA's day #2:

And here are a few quotes from the day:

-- Bent Nygaard Larsen and Jens Erik Baek are here all the way from Denmark:

"The show is great, this venue is quite huge. We're here to network internationally and check out the awards. We're picking up many great ideas to take home to our members."

-- Cathy Wood from Memphis just joined PPA Friday and arrived excited to take everything in:

"I'm here for the education--Photoshop, lighting techniques and more. It's such a great opportunity to learn. I'll definitely be in Atlanta next year!"

-- Andrea Taylor from Atlanta after Allison Tyler Jones' Seven Secrets to Six Figure Sales:
"This last class was life changing. Worth my 9 years of PPA membership! I am so pumped I want to get back to work right away".

Today is the last day of Imaging USA and boy is it ever going to be a good one!  Get ready for one more round of some great speakers. You'll also be able to snatch up some tradeshow last minute deals and make your final round of browsing and shopping on the Expo floor... before finishing with a bang at the  Award & Degree ceremony and the closing party in and around the Delta Island.

We can't thank you enough for being here. Don't forget, there is no Imaging USA without YOU! Put yourself out there after these few days or everything photography. Be More.
