Image Competition Feedback & Critique: Baby Blue Eyes - PPA Today

Image Competition Feedback & Critique: Baby Blue Eyes

By: Lauren Walters

It may be a bit nerve-racking to participate in a photographic competition of any sort, especially one that judges you on your technique. Although the nerves may spike, the experience will make you a better photographer because of it! One way to get as much education as you can out of an image competition is to order a critique of your work. The judges' comments are specifically intended to help you improve your entries and zero in on your strengths and weaknesses, so that you can focus on further developing where you already excel and continuously work on what still falls short.

To help ease your potential anxiety, in the video below PPA debunks the nightmares that haunt photographic competition participants. Watch International Judge Jeff Dachowski, M.Photog.Cr, CPP provide feedback in his critique if the image called "Baby Blue Eyes" created by photographer Gary Johnson.

Are you looking to bump up your photography skill level? Don't wait - take control of your success and enter an image competition today! The IPC is now open for entries!
