Critique: "Age of Innocence"

By Sarah Ackerman

The 2016 District Competitions have started opening their entries! Now is the perfect time to push yourself to be more creative in the new year. To get you prepared for competition, we're showcasing the critique of "Age of Innocence" by Katherine Tracy Page by James Wyant from PPA's International Photographic Competition.

In this critique, James compares the work to the 12 Elements of a Merit Image. See what can apply to your work or identify areas you might want to focus on!

We hope this critique can help you get a better understanding of what the International Photographic Competition judges are looking for when scoring your images. Head to the District Competition section of PPA's website to see when your area is accepting entries, and be sure to get a critique so you can receive some personalized feedback on your works of art!
