PPACharities2010.jpgThis year, PPA Charities re-invented "Chicks Who Click," a conference focused on women in photography, turning it into a fundraising event of education, networking and fun. More than 150 registrants, along with vendors, speakers, volunteers and trustees, gathered at the Firesky Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz., in late June for this inaugural PPA Charities event. Attendees benefited from outstanding presentations on topics designed to increase their business success and, in the process, helped raise more than $30,000 for PPA Charities.

"Part of this success was our good fortune in having such an amazing group of presenters volunteer their services on behalf of PPA Charities," said PPA Charities President Mary Fisk-Taylor. "The Chicks Conference was a real team effort, with volunteers, trustees, speakers, vendors and attendees all helping to make it a huge success."
