Apple unveiled an all new iMac line featuring brilliant 21.5-inch and 27-inch LED-backlit widescreen displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio-- perfect for HD video starting at $1,127 and introduced the new wireless Magic Mouse which responds to the touch of fingers instead of using buttons or scroll wheels starting at $63. Apple also made its least expensive laptop, the $939 MacBook, sleeker, faster and more like the higher-end MacBook Pro machines with a "multitouch" track pad.
Other updates include a new Mac mini which is faster than ever but is still the world's most energy efficient desktop computer. The new Mac mini includes Intel Core 2 Duo processors up to 25 percent faster and double the amount of DDR3 memory and starts at $563. Also, a new updated version of AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule now feature up to 25 percent better Wi-Fi range and up to 50 percent better Wi-Fi performance. Starting at $275, Time Capsule now features up to 60 percent improved Time Machine backup performance.
