Sandra Foyt, Cr.Photog., CPP
Join award-winning travel photographer Sandra Foyt, author of "100 Things To Do In Albany Before You Die," in exploring the Albany Pine Bush in Albany, NY. The class is a hands-on workshop covering how to photograph a range of subjects under varying conditions. On press trips, a content media creator might go from capturing a breathtaking landscape to photographing a museum exhibit to taking food photos. This class will begin with landscape photography on the Pinebush Preserve Loop (a 3.6-mile trail) and photographing exhibits in the Discovery Center. We will have a working lunch at a local restaurant where we can practice photographing food on the fly and discuss what travel photography sells on stock agencies. Afterward, we will head to Rensselaer Lake for another landscape photography session. Throughout the day-long class, we will discuss photography techniques (composition, exposure, etc.) and elements of photos that sell well on stock photography agencies.
