A webinar is an online seminar.
You follow a link to the hosting Web site, and listen to the live seminar either through your computer speakers or on the phone. The webinar usually consists of a shared powerpoint that the speaker uses to illustrate his or her class. Sometimes, the speaker will share his or her desktop, allowing you to watch each movement made in a program such as QuickBooks. PPA’s webinars usually feature business education (geared toward professional photographers, of course).
The archived webinars are recorded versions of the live webinars. The only difference is that you won’t be able to ask the speaker questions.
