Wedding photography is one of the easiest ways to enter into a photography career…but if it’s not fun for you, don’t feel trapped. Even though portrait photography is harder to enter, the switch can be made.

Instead of waiting until your wedding couples are old enough to create a family/children’s portrait business for you, why don't you do it yourself and say goodbye to weddings at the same time? That’s what Jerry Borwick from JB Portraits in Arlington, TN, did, and he is loving it—it’s been a year since his last wedding shoot!

During the heart of a recession, he was able to successfully change his income from wedding photography to on-location portrait photography. He went from 100% weddings to 100% portraits in less than two years, and this was done without a studio, not even in his home. Having a more relaxed weekend is a divine experience, and Jerry is willing to tell you how he did it.

So listen and learn to pave your way to portraiture…and wave goodbye to those hectic wedding experiences.
