Lectures run from 8:30am to 4:00pm. On all 3 days, consultations are scheduled 4:00pm to 6:30pm.

COST Workshop Plus Consultation Includes 3 full days of classroom instruction plus one-on-one consultations with a PPA staff accountant and marketing mentor.
Atlanta Workshops are $949. Second person from same studio is $349.
All other Workshops are $1,199. Second person from same studio is $599.
If you work with your spouse or a business partner, it is strongly recommended that you both attend.

QUALIFICATIONS Our 3-Day Workshops are geared toward well-established studios that have achieved (at minimum) $50,000 in annual gross sales.
PROGRAM Our unique program provides intensive instruction in techniques for business success, from financial management to branding, marketing, pricing, and selling strategies.
Over three full days, classroom instruction focuses first on business and financial management, moves into the how-tos of effective branding, targeting, and marketing, and concludes with techniques for maximizing sales. Topics covered include:

- Pricing & Price Lists
Day 2
- Creating a Compelling Brand
- Strategies for Marketing Your Business Image
- Determining an Appropriate Business Model
- Making the Most of Your Studio Space (home studio or retail location)
- Finding Effective Marketing Techniques for Your Target Client
- Partnership Marketing
- Online Marketing
- Marketing to Existing Clients
Day 3
- Maximizing Every Sale
- Comfortable Sales Techniques that Improve Profitability
- Understanding a Client's Needs, Expectations, and Wants
- Creating a Well-Defined Sales System
- Higher Levels of Customer Service
About the Consultations: With each 3-Day Workshop, you also benefit from one-on-one consultations: a pre-workshop consultation with a PPA staff accountant, and a one-hour onsite consultation with both an accountant and mentor.
In the pre-workshop phone consultation with a PPA staff accountant, you'll get a review your financial analysis and a financial plan recommendation, based on the financial information you send over to us prior.
During the workshop itself, we'll follow up with a one-hour consultation with one of the SMS instructors (who will serve as your business and marketing mentor) and a PPA accountant. It's your chance to address your most pressing issues/areas of concern and have questions answered, develop priorities, and decide on action steps.
