John David Pittman, a commercial/editorial portrait photographer based in Little Rock, is quick to tell you that the path he took to professional photography is an interesting one. The former bar manager, political consultant, video production services salesman and account manager for an international educational software company thanks his wife daily for pushing him to pursue his passion of photography as a professional endeavor. Working as a professional photographer since 2011, Pittman's skills have grown exponentially in a short period of time drawing the attention of creative decision makers on the local, regional, and national levels. His genuine love of the art of portraiture and his constant practice of goal setting is what Pittman says keeps him inspired and moving forward in a crowded industry full of talented artists. In addition to shooting for multiple private companies, Pittman's work has been published in the pages of numerous regional publications across the southern United States as well as Dance Teacher Magazine, Dance Spirit, Southern Bride, Rangefinder, and Professional Photographer magazine.
