Are you serious about your work? Print Competition is hands-down the best way to grow and improve your craft. Success in Print Competition depends not only on great photography skills, but great finishing or post processing skills as well. That is more often than not, using our friend Adobe Photoshop.

There are lots of merit farms to which you can send your images, but what will you really learn or accomplish in outsourcing your competition prints? Instead, think of standing next to your image in the IPC Gallery at Imaging USA, you will be filled with satisfaction knowing it was all you from start to finish!

This class will begin with an explanation of the various levels of print competition, local, state, district and IPC. From here, you 'll discuss degrees and how to work towards them. Spend the afternoon, covering Photoshop skills that will enhance your images as Instructors Dan and Margaret share techniques and tips to solve competition and every day challenges. You 'll learn how to convert repetitive steps into repeatable actions or moves that can be used anytime you need. The day finishes up with constructive critiques as you learn from and share with the rest of the class. So, join in this opportunity to improve your skills and set yourself on the path to Merit-Worthy images.

Drones are a hot item with photographers today! But unlike most aspects of photography, drone photography requires a government license. This course will teach photographers the rules and regulations required by the FAA to successfully pass the Part 107 FAA exam.

This course will cover the 5 main subject areas of the test including regulations, airspace classifications and operating requirements, weather, loading and performance, and drone operations. A sample test will be administered to prepare the participants to take the Part 107 exam upon completion of this course. Walk out ready to ace your exam!

Instructor Karl Schraml has built six studios in his more than 20 years experience as a professional photographer. In this course, you will learn how to maximize your space, create effective traffic flows. You will learn about negotiating space and working with landlords while also examining what to look for when leasing for a new space. From here, Karl will also discuss how to best utilize the space you have, even if its not ideal.
