As a photographer, finding the right light is your continual mission. In this course, Instructors Dana and Stephanie show you how to achieve beautiful, soft light in many different situations. Learn how to work with available light as well as add artificial light to maintain a natural look. You’ll learn the process and techniques for working with reflectors, diffusion, flash, custom white balancing and hand held metering.Weather permitting, you’ll shoot outside, both with and without flash, in a studio setting and by window light as you explore simple and effective mechanics of lighting. Conquer the obstacles and shoot the images you want – no matter the situation!

Susan has written a book entitled Body and Soul and she’ll share some of her ideas that will help you bring your clients’ stories to life in each of your sessions.
