 Step into the studio and step out of your shell. This is your opportunity to learn about the exciting world of fine art boudoir photography and how to incorporate it into your studio.

Listen and learn about the entire process – from the initial consultation and understanding expectations to concept boards, wardrobe, setting, makeup and more. But this is not a day to just sit back and listen. Rather, get hands-on in a fully equipped studio as you experiment with lighting setups, different studio sets and real-life models. End the day with an essential post-production tutorial and take your boudoir skills from "dreaming" to "doing" – with knockout results!

Items to Bring: Bring a notebook, notepad, etc. to be used for the first hour or so. Any advanced camera with manual controls and a hot shoe will do, but a DSLR is recommended. Bring your laptop with Photoshop installed. All lighting, Pocket Wizards, and other studio requirements will be provided.

If you’re ready to get competitive, you’ve come to the right place! Whether you’re entering print competition for the first time or have been there but want to see your scores improve, this course is a must-have.

Walk through the ins and outs of PPA competition as you discuss and learn about the various levels.  Bring your best images and take advantage of two PPA Master Photographers as they share their insights for improvement.  Explore the all-important finishing touches – like presentation and titles – that give your images a more polished look.  You’ll even learn some simple Photoshop tweaks that can make all the difference in your results.

This day is a great way to gain the confidence you need for competition!
