Register on-site for $120 (space permitting - contact instructor)

Course #MD05
Pam Long
Mike Busada, M.Photog., CPP

Get ready to enjoy the day while creating portraits on the beach, on Mike's farm and in his studio. You'll use natural light, off-camera flash, strobes, ring lights and a variety of modifiers while posing each other!

Yes, that's right, you'll be posing and lighting one another! You'll learn the art of communicating with your clients as well as the techniques of proper posing and lighting. Not only will you see it through the eyes of the photographer, but through the eyes of a client. By being on both sides of the camera, you'll retain more and go home with tips and tricks to create amazing portraits that sell!

The last portion of the day will be spent going through an in-person sales session using ProSelect. We will walk you through the workflow we use to prep for the sales session using images created during class. You'll be shown many benefits of ProSelect, e.g. import client's walls to show true portrait sizes, create templates, turn your Photoshop templates into ProSelect templates and many more helpful tools.

By the end of this information packed day, you'll learn how to better relate to, and work with, your clients. You'll get hands-on experience with proven lighting techniques in both the studio and outdoor locations and, you'll learn how to process and profitably present your images to your clients after the session. Don't miss this opportunity to learn and help you grow your business!
