For a family portrait photographer, posing is a MUST if you want to create and sell those large, beautiful wall portraits. A wedding photographer needs to create poses quickly and effortlessly to keep the happy couple happy (and have happy sales!). For a child photographer, adjusting poses is what makes the difference in the images. No matter your focus or specialty, if you work with people, you NEED this class!
Class begins at Understand Photography at 2 p.m., has a short dinner break and goes til dusk, incorporating a beautiful beach sunset. But, you're not there for the scenery – you'll be learning everything you need to know about posing individuals and groups.
You'll learn the trade secrets - Rule of Thirds, triangles, eyes, hands, camera angles. Whether you're a professional photographer or an enthusiastic amateur, your goal is make to people look good and posing is the way to do it!
Learning about posing is one thing, but doing it is the way to burn it into memory! So you'll be hands-on, get to practice poses and also have a great time! Since posing goes hand in hand with lighting, you'll explore some lighting tricks as well. Bring your camera and flash, check any hesitations at the door, and come prepared to learn and have fun!
