Unleash the power of off-camera flash and discover what it can do for your photography!  In this class, you’ll go beyond the basics of exposure and learn dynamic lighting techniques that will take your talent to a whole new level.

Step out of the studio and spend the afternoon outside, creating outdoor portraits with various types of flash.  Work with reflectors, soft boxes, umbrellas, studio strobes and even speed lights as you discover a myriad of ways to add WOW to your images! This class encompasses the worst and best times for capturing outdoor images so see it all put to practice with a live model.  End the day with a special demonstration of the Pixel Stick for lighting painting backgrounds.
  
Go farther and do more with your off-camera flash!  This is the way!

Note:  This class is geared towards intermediate photographers with a working knowledge of their camera’s manual mode and how to use these (aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings) in various combinations.

Items to Bring: Cameras with portrait lenses.  Snacks, water, comfortable walking shoes.  Will have reflectors & lighting equipment and Nikon based flash triggers available for use. PocketWizard remotes & speed lights will be geared to Nikon equipment. If using another brand, please feel free to bring your equipment. If you want to experiment with light painting, then bring a tripod and remote shutter release.
