How does light define or shape a subject? How do you use light to create a mood? Take this class to learn the characteristics of light and what they can do for your images!
You'll explore the difference between soft and hard lighting and how to create depth in a photo. Seeing may be believing but doing it is the key! With studio lights, soft boxes, reflectors, umbrellas, and more, you'll have hands-on time with all these studio lighting tools. Do you know what a barn door, beauty dish or gobo is? Not only will you know them, but know how to use them to create knock-out images! And before you're finished, discover how to achieve patterns with multiple lights – whether it's a short, broad, loop, butterfly, split and Rembrandt pattern, you'll know how to use these to create incredible images.
