March 2014 CPP Liaison Newsletter
2014 is the year for you to BE MORE both personally and professionally! As a Liaison you are already on your journey by committing to be more involved with the Certification program—helping candidates through the process of getting their CPP! Every month we will try to highlight a way for you to Be More!
Be More Social
As a Certified Professional Photographer and CPP Liaison you have access to a wide variety of groups and networks set up specifically with you in mind. These communities are great places to chat with peers, make new friends and seek professional advice! Be more connected online and build your social network through your CPP Liaison Communities on theLoop and Facebook.
Be More Visible: Faces of PPA
If you haven't submitted your Faces of PPA profile yet, now is the perfect time! Submissions are always open for this ongoing campaign that showcases the diversity within the PPA community. Oh, and make sure your photo shows off that you are a CPP! Get involved, have fun and show us the kind of photographer you are in your own creative way. That's all that matters! In the meantime, have a look at this handy video and check out the Faces of PPA gallery on Facebook.
Did you know there is a dedicated section of the Certification website for FAQs? Yep! We pooled all the most frequently asked questions so candidates and you all as Liaisons would have a page dedicated to helping you navigate the Certification process. If you can't find your answer on the FAQ page feel free shoot us an email at email@example.com.
Also, remember there is a CPP Liaison FAQ page as well!
Program Update Reminder
Beginning January 1, 2014, all CPPs and CPP Candidates are required to belong to PPA. Those candidates currently in the process of pursuing their Certification who are not PPA members will be required to join PPA before their CPP designation is officially granted. Remember there is no annual charge for Certification for PPA members. For questions regarding this policy please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
