Thanks guys! Right now, I'm developing a style and building a series of kids sports pictures, to market, or use as samples to generate work in the trade. So far they've been well received in the digital art realm...don't know if my style would benefit the photographic community...that's kinda why I'm here... The embellished prints will be available in sizes up to 16 x 20 on paper or canvas.
I'm semi-retired, so I'm not looking to build a career/business...but rather to supplement my income. That plan may change...we'll see.
I think they would be very well liked as commissioned Art Pieces for the families of the children. I'm not sure about selling them to the general public but who knows? Might do well. I would be very sure to get signed model releases from the parents of these children before making them public offerings. Are you using an agent of any kind to get these into galleries? Here is a company that represents a variety of Artists. Artists Runway. I have no experience with them but I have a friend who used them and now sells his Tempera paintings of landscapes in several galleries around the country. Not sure how much they had to do with it but I think they hosted his first web site.
