What say you?
This is one I am considering for my state comp. What do you think, any chance it will hang?
Thanks, Jeff

Interestingly, I viewed this on a small monitor and had to scroll down to see it all. I loved it until I got to the bottom. I think the dark foreground should be cropped (in my most humble, inexperienced, and newbie) opinion.

No, no, no...do NOT crop!!
Wow. I'm a newbie. Can't comment on hanging in competition. But this is EXACTLY the kind of thing I would buy to look at every day. Wow.
what's the story on this image?

p.s. still looking
it has an ethereal feeling... and feels like an analogy on life.

I had to scroll down to see what you wrote John. Funny - before I got to your post I stopped and blocked off the bottom dark part too. I think I agree with you. Jeff I really like this image - the challenge will be I've seen it done many many times in competition. Not that you can't still hang it - just makes it more harder to do so.

I like it too. But I agree with Holly, it's been done a lot and it has no real center of interest. I don't know how these pattern-type images do in competition, but I'll find out this year.
Here's my rendition--hope you don't mind

Respectfully,
For me, the image loses something critical when you take the dark contrast out. What do you think about this...
