I just want to know what hotel. I can make reservations now with my military rate and then swing it over if the PPA rate is cheaper.

My suggestion is to ask PPA staff, like Al Hopper, while you are at San Antonio this January. Us members can only speculate. Then again, we could assume that the primary hotel will be the one nearest the convention center. My guess is 99% the case, as they hold some events like awards and others at the primary hotel, nearest the convention center.

Are you going to SAT? I am, but I stay at a lower price hotel, last two years and this next one, where there is complimentary breakfast. Embassy Suites and January at Hampton Inn - yes a walk, but that's good, and it'll be less than in Austin.

If you really want to know, just call PPA and ask. Wouldn't that be the simplest and quickest way to get an accurate answer? They have an 800 number so it won't even cost you to make the call.

As Holly said call the office in the know. Most likely the hotel nearest the convention center, according to history.
